The executive director and senior partner Niilo Santasalo, MBA, BSc (Eng), has worked as, for example, a venture partner for Nordic at Merlin Biosciences Ltd, a senior investment banker at PCA Corporate Finance, Helsinki, where he headed technology and life-sciences teams, in partnership with WestLB Panmure (London). He has also experience of business development and strategy consulting for technology firms. Earlier he had a long career in senior management at the STERIS Corporation, the global healthcare and life science technology company. Santasalo holds, and has held, several board director positions in many firms both in Finland and abroad. His industry expertise covers high-tech engineering, information technology, digital media & entertainment and healthcare and life sciences.

The senior adviser and partner, Laura Santasalo, MSc (Economics), has gained wide leadership and management experience working, for example, for Promenade Research as CEO (current position); Hunting Minds as CEO; Silja Line as Vice President of Concept Management; Radiolinja (today Elisa) as Vice President of the company’s largest business unit Personal Communication; Tecnomen as Business Development Director and Marketing Director; and Telecom Finland, today TeliaSonera, as Export Director. Her industry expertise covers mobile telecommunication and related services, brand and concept management.
